WRX9X

Suitable Applications:

  • GD/GG chassis

WRX104X and WRX107X: V10 EJ25

Suitable Applications:

  • WRX104X mostly covered the 2004-2006 range.
  • WRX107X (listed separately) mostly covers the 2007 model.
  • However, some 2006 models require the WRX107X.
  • The fastest and most reliable way to tell is to check whether pins A1-3 are populated.
  • If the pins have wires, you need the WRX104X; if there are no wires, you need the WRX107X.
  • Suits GD or GG chassis with electronic throttle. Not suitable for the GR/GH/GE/GV hatchback or 3rd generation WRX's.

WRX11X

The G4X PlugIn ECUs offer the latest in engine management technology, designed to easily maximize the potential of your car. This ECU fits inside the factory OEM enclosure without any modification to the factory wiring for the models listed below. This product supports the following models:

  • 2007-2011 WRX and WRX STI with GR/GV/GH/GE chassis codes, for JDM/AUDM/SADM/EURO markets, with turbocharged EJ20 or EJ25 engines.
  • 2008-2010 USDM models which have the common international Denso ECU Pinout**
  • 2015-2021 WRX STI with VAB/VAF chassis codes, for JDM/AUDM/SADM/EURO markets, with turbocharged EJ20 or EJ25 engines **Note: Supports North American models with Denso ECU from late 2007-2010 only. Some North American models have a Hitachi ECU which is not supported.

Important Notes:

  • Please check if your connector matches the header in the listed photo before purchasing.
  • This ECU works for manual transmissions only.
  • It is highly recommended to fit an air temperature sensor.
  • Most factory features are supported including DCCD, hill start assist, SI drive, cruise control, cam control & ABS supported.
  • Check the features tab for I/O expansion options.
  • Note: This Plug-in features a new 4-pin powered CAN connector and cannot use the old CANPCB cable for CAN connection. Use the CANJST4 (Link PN 101-0198) cable for connecting CAN devices. This new 4-pin port and cable provide not only the CAN connection, but also a protected 12V power supply and ground for powering the CAN devices. The power supply is protected by a self-resetting fuse rated at 3A continuous.
